Good questions

Questions, answered

About this light, shipping and returns.

Ask us anything
Does it give automatic weather alerts?

No. Outpost receives NOAA weather broadcasts — tune to your local channel to hear forecasts and emergency updates. It doesn't sound an automatic alert tone.

How much does cranking charge it?

A few minutes of steady cranking gives a short session of radio or light. Cranking is the backup — for everyday top-ups use USB or the sun.

Can it fully charge my phone?

It's made for an emergency top-up — enough for a call or a few messages, not a full charge.

Which NOAA channel should I use?

Look up your local NOAA Weather Radio transmitter on weather.gov, then tune the WB band until you hear the broadcast.

When will my order arrive?

Orders are processed in 1–2 business days and most US orders arrive within 4–7 business days. You'll see the estimated window above and get tracking by email.

Can I return it?

Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to return unused items, and if anything arrives damaged or defective, we replace or refund it. Details.
